A project I'm working on right now, it's titled "Interiors" This is a habit Kelly has, she dislikes people watching her eat and so to make them look away she sticks out her tounge and shows people what is in her mouth. The other day when i got set the project title, she did it to me - and it got me thinking.

These are taken with a metz flash directly in her face, set to overexpose her face, so that her mouth and nose is the only real detail. I added the bright Martin Parr style colour - because most of the foods she is eating have artificial colours in, (apart from the orange, which is just brightly coloured food) And the colour also makes the food pop out of the image, and creates a childish aesthetic, which reflects the childish act of showing "seafood". These foods are her favourite, she picked what she wanted to eat for the photos, if you are wondering?}
